The first bug concerns the province of Al Qahira, just south of the Suez Canal on the left bank. The problem relates to sorting out the peace settlement after a war with Egypt. I owned a number of provinces in the area and Al Qahira fails to show up in the list of provinces that are candidates for negotiation. In other words, I attempted to secure all of the provinces bordering the Suez and had plenty of justification, but Al Qahira simply did not show up in the list of provinces that I wanted to select for tribute. I tested it many times and it is always absent from the list.

The second relates to the province of Podor near Dakar. I was at war with France, who had a number of trading stations and other colonial outposts that I was scooping up through military occupation. All provinces converted in a reasonable period of time after occupation by my troops, except for Podor, which simple would not convert, even after several months.

I believe that these are legitimate bugs, but any comments are welcome.

Al- Qahira = Cairo = Capital of Egypt

It is somewhat difficult to obtain the capital of Egypt without totally annexing them, which is really very reasonable!

As for Podor, are you sure it was owned by France and not by someone else?

Thanks for the Cairo tip

Didn't occur to me that province name would not be used here, thanks. Tried the podor problem in later game. worked ok. sorry for the bother.
