Recently started a game on my computer without the internet as the Iroquois. Here are my questions

1. Is there any way to get a navy? Or to make it so I can get on mid-game? I'm pretty far along.

2. Regarding that, the scenario has about 150 years left. Is there any way to make this longer without having to download anything?

I don´t know if Fantasia follows special rules, but if not then you need to overcome the whiteman penalty to build ships:

So, basically, I need to have contact with 19 foreign nations to build ships? Are there that many in Fantasia?

No, knowing 19 foreign nations overcomes the isolation penalty which affects all nations not knowing 19 others. The whiteman penalty is for american natives only.

[EDIT: Took too long to reply :)]
No, the 19 foreign nations thing only affects tech costs. What you want is whiteman. This explains how to get whiteman:

Whiteman increases by 1 for each interaction with non-American countries e.g. each DoW (in either direction), merchants placed in non-American CoTs etc. When it reaches 5, the effect of this modifier is eliminated.
I can't remember if you need whiteman of 5 or just 1 to build ships and cavalry, though.

You can't extend the scenario past 1820 without downloading the no-time-limit patch.

you must know europe, as usual :)
or hope in a random event :p

You can extend the scenario by editting the file, where you'll see two end date references, which you can simply edit.
That won't work without the patch.
