Hello, I wanted to give Rome another try after a long time and I can say that I am not a very advanced Rome player. I would like to ask two questions:

1) How can I display which inventions have been unlocked by my tech levels?
2) Can I marry my ruler to a character in order to prevent the dynasty from extinction?

As far as I know there is no screen that shows them.

2) Can I marry my ruler to a character in order to prevent the dynasty from extinction?

You can write "marriages" in the console after that you can arrange all marriages. You can also marry your ruler to himself or something as sensible so be careful ;)
Arranging a marriage happens when you have unmarried character and you click the spouse icon. Then the game opens the character window and you can choose the spouse.

There is a minor nuisance: each and every minor character will then need your services as matchmaker, as they won't get married on their own. So it's better to turn it off (by typing 'marriages' again) as soon as the priest has said "I do hereby declare you ..."

................wtf?
