Two small issues with the Steam version

It is almost silly to complain about this, but:

1-Even after the patch Steam still asks to reinstall C++ everytime I launch the game (yes, I have a 64 bit system)

2- The desktop shortcut displays no icon. The icon worked in the demo but the full version always displays Windows' default blank icon.

Thats odd, I just tried to install the game from my home machine. Only installed the vc++ redist the first time.

I can't quit a game after latest update on steam. When I press quit the game, game closes and steam still shows I'm playing it. I am unable to terminate ck2.exe in my task manager window too. I started game 3 times and then quit. All 3 ck2.exe are showing up in my task manager. I bet if I start another game it will show 4 ck2.exe. How to solve this?

Edit. Apparently I was right. I launched my game 2 more times and I have 5 ck2.exe running in my task manager window list now (added second screenshot crusader2.png). Seems the game doesn't quit properly. I can't terminate the process and the only way is to restart pc? I haven't experiencing this issue until my game was recently updated

Thank you. It was my ESET Smart Security causing this issue. My Internet Security was detecting that ck2.exe file was modified - "Warning, Application modification detected!". When I pressed to allow this modificated ck2.exe my issue was gone. Now game closes properly. This is the first time I saw such warning. I have never seen this message with other my games before.

It always happens when you add a firewall rule for a program to eset and then that program's exe gets modified afterwards.

I'm having the same problems as the Original poster. I tried reinstalling the game but when try to launch the game I get VAC warning about the Steam Client Service and then the first time running and installing C++ redist message. I'm using Windows 7 64 bit. The only thing that changed since I reinstalled is I now get the currect Checksum of KUMH rather then TKEO I was getting before.
