After the 1.01 hotfix the UI scaling range will only go between 0.5 and 0.6 and for me, 0.6 is barely readable. Is there something that I can do to get the UI larger.

Edit: I should mention I'm using an older monitor with an almost square aspect ratio. It has caused problems with displaying UI in paradox games before but this is the first time the problem has rendered the game almost unplayable.

This is the first I've heard of a problem in that area. Have you tried different resolutions?

DXDIAG is a program you run from a command prompt or the Windows start menu 'run' dialog box (or 'search programs' in Windows 7 or later). After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.

Please attach your Documents/Paradox/Imperator/pdx_settings.txt.
From your Documents/Paradox/Imperator/logs/ folder, attach system.log .

still there isn't fix in the new patch.
so if i can't play the game after "Demetrius", can i return back my money (in 1.0.0 UI size was good, so i played more then 2 hours)?

While I still would very much like a solution to this scaling problem, the Better Font mod made the text readable enough that the game is playable again.

Same issue here. The game uses 1280x800 and scaling only shows 0.5 and 0.6 which is WAY too small. The 'better font' mod helps but it's really hard to read...

I second this, I can still read everything fine, but mine only goes between 0.5-0.6 also. I can see how that would be difficult with people with bad eyesight up close.

We can process refunds only if you bought from our Webshop, please lodge a ticket at paradox.zendesk.com with that request.

If you bought from elsewhere (such as directly from Steam) you must approach them for a refund or credit.

Today Steam has refused my request to refund, because i played the game more then 2 hours.
I played the game more then 2 hours, because it had good size of fonts at first. But then your ruined the game, so i can't play it and i can't refund it.
It's unfair, it's fraud.

I am sorry for this having such an effect on you. You can either revert to 1.0.0 in the Steam Betas tab until this is fixed, or use one of the Better Fonts mods until then.

I will not revert to 1.0.0 or use mods. (as i know, better fonts don't change the scale of UI)

But does ruining the product already purchased, which makes it impossible to use it, and the refusal to return the money is not fraud or even theft?
Fix it today or return my money.

Bugs are not fraud.

I've already offered to refund your money, but that is only possible if you bought from our store of course. We cannot return money you paid to someone else.

No Paradox programmers are working on a Sunday. We do not have you money unless you bought it from us, which AFAICS you did not.

But Paradox ruin the game, not Steam.
You created game, you use Steam (as platform) to sell the game. Does not Steam takes only a percentage of sales?
You personly early wrote, that small size of font is not a bug.
The problem was found on thursday (https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/index.php?threads/i-r-1-01-ui-scaling.1173532/), since thursday there was beta patch, which don't fix it.
Now i can't play the game and can't refund it. And you refuse to fix it immediately. Of course, it's fraud.

The game is not ruined, it has a bug. You refuse to use either workaround suggested, which is your choice.

If you think it is fraud you are welcome to contact our legal department for recourse.
