UK + Germany in alliance

A friend of mine wants to play MP with me today, and we've agreed that he'll be the UK and I'll be Germany. Now, the "problem" is, he wants to ally with me. How can he do that? Do we have to alter some files? I doubt the UK can just quit their own alliance and join mine?

then offers peace with you as puppet.
you accept.
a week later he releases you and grants independence.
As the UK, you'll be buggered though -15 dissent, supply problems and Iraq or similar will claim lots of your provinces (Gibraltar, Northern Ireland perhaps etc)
