Unable to join a friend multiplayer sessions

Hi everyone,

I am not able to join my friend game nor he can join my when I host. We simply can't see each other session. When I try to join directly via the server ID it says something like "unable to communicate with the server".

I've never been able to see my friend's game, but I join manually with the server ID. Do you copy the server ID from there? Me and my friends have found that it only works there.

If that doesn't work I'll need to know a little more. Are you both logged in through Paradox? Did steam auto create Paradox accounts for you? Did you make your accounts on this website? One of my friends found out that his internet provider just for some reason was not compatible with CK3 multiplayer. Not a clue why, may be his computer settings or something, I'm not a tech support expert. But, he could not connect until he changed his internet connection to his hotspot on his phone. Then it allowed him to connect, just not on his wifi.

I can't copy the ID code but I typed in manually. I have a paradox account since I play pretty much every paradox games, and I'm logged in. I even tried with a hotspot, still didnt worked. I'm gonna try tomorrow with a different computer, to see if it makes a differance.

Same issue on XBOX Series X, but even worse I believe since I cant join ANY online game.

I'm on Xbox Series X and trying to join my friend on PC and cannot find out how to do it. We are both logged in our paradox, synced with xbox account and still can't find each other. He sent me the referral code and I can't find where to enter it or find each other when hosting a game. Any advice?
