Unable to launch on Xbox after the Airport update

Got the Airport expansion, as well as the vehicle expansion, to try out in the vanilla game. However I am unable to even launch the game. When I try to launch it, it tells me to give it a minute to get ready, but always results in an error with the code 0x800705b4. I've looked up work arounds, but none of them have helped me. I'm able to launch other games (Halo Infinite, Gears 5), but not this one. I had no issues at all pre-Airport update. I am also playing on an Xbox Series X.

That is an Xbox error rather than an issue with the game as such, I believe. Let's try this:

- uninstall the game from the XBox

- clear the XBox cache and game files (save game data)

- install the game again and test with a new city, BEFORE restoring any saved games
