Unable to load save games

Playing 1.01 as Duchy of Gwynedd, following a CTD I simply tried to reload my game. The saves are: my own save game, autosave and oldautosave. No matter which I choose the start button remains greyed out so I am unable to load. I can only start a brand new game.

this problem has already been reported multiple times (http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?t=139583). It is currently being worked on.

Please, before reporting a bug, could you use the Search function of this forum just to verify it has not been reported previously and post there, instead of starting a new thread ?

I got it to load. Turned off my computer started again and this time got the option to load ok. Unfortunately the ctd that threw me out in the first place kept re-occuring. Two speparate games played and both ended with multiple CTDs in the mid-1080s. I can't work out what the root cause is though.

if you find out what causes this, then rush back in here and report it, and we will have a look at it.

I believe it was a 1.01 CTD bug.
