Hello,

Few weeks ago I discovered CK3 at a friend and played on his computer. I spent about thirty hours on a very nice game that I would like to continue.

Back at my place, I bought the Royal Edition on steam which comes with a series of DLCs. After downloading the entire game, I put my save files into the save games folder intended for this purpose.

However, on the main menu of the game, when I click on "Load" and scroll down my saves, it says that I cannot load them because I do not own the "garments of the holy roman empire" DLC.

I'm a bit concerned about this issue since I thought the Royal Edition had them all.

Is it possible to send me this content that I can install it and resume this great dynastic tree I started several days ago?

Best regards,

F.

Your friend has a pre-order edition of the game which is where that DLC comes from, it is a pre-order bonus only. Royal Edition comes with a lot of stuff, but only pre-order bonuses if bought before release date.

Potentially you and your friend could set up Steam Family Sharing so you can load with that DLC enabled, borrowed from his library. I can't think of another way around this, I'm sorry!
