Unable to manually change security level of prisoners

Tried on a new game, as well as old prisons, the new update made it so I am unable to manually change the security level of any prisoners. The option to do so is still there, but doing so simply resets if you click off the prisoner, and if you do so, nothing happens.

This was how I manually dished out punishments as well as controlled the gang leaders in the jail (switching them to different security levels). This was also how I separated gang members in the game. Now you can't do any of this.

Please let me know if there's some way to fix this or if this will be addressed. This is game breaking.

I have the same glitch! I hope they fix it soon. I can't play it like this! :O(
 
Also same issue.

I tried doing an uninstall, including the stuff in user apps, and reinstall no joy.

Also removed steam version, bought GOG version. Same issue with both Steam and GOG.

/agree GAME BREAKING BUG.

Only options I see for snitches etc... are permanent solitary or gravestones.

I suggest you create a help desk ticket. Use the subject "Unable to change risk category."


Update: Guess what got released today. Guess what broke the base game?

Bug better be fixed without having to buy the DLC.

Bug is there DLC or not it seems, so it has to do with the Pen update for sure. I will make a help ticket tomorrow, but it looks like they're aware of this issue so i'm hoping for a quick fix.

Oh you didn't buy the DLC? So the bug came with the free update? I didn't know that. I bought the DLC and assumed it was that. They said they are working on fixing it so that's awesome! :)
