I'm no longer able to post a comment with emoji inserted via text editor. When posting, the server returns 406 status code. I can still use character to represent an emoji (e.g. :<space>P for smile with tongue") and it posts and displays correctly like so- :p

It works around half the time for me.

It's not just that. I am unable to update an old post with a new link. Has never been an issue before.

It definitely seems related to emoji's. I can't reply to a post with an emoji in it, but if I edit the emoji's to their text based equivalent, it then posts okay.

I use the Brave browser.

Ya its definitely doesn't work with emojis unless you use text.

At least in my testing so far. I can post with an emoji, but it won't let me edit a post with an emoji in it (it brings up the edit screen, but clicking "save" does nothing). It's a bit peculiar, and it may not be everyone. Repro'd issue on Chrome, Firefox and Edge, and Firefox/Edge where cleared cookies/caches/etc., Just mentioning here in case it's useful intel.

Thanks to @ero_sk and their post at https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/threads/unable-to-post-with-emoji.1667335/ which was the clue needed to test.
