Summary​

Unable to upgrade fishing fleets to steam trawlers

Expected Result​

When clicking on the green arrow to upgrade to a steam trawler, I would expect it to complete the upgrade

Actual Result​

It did nothing.

Steps to reproduce​

I had fishing fleets built and when the green arrows appeared to upgrade them, they did not upgrade. I was also unable to build any new steam trawlers or fishing fleets. I was playing multiplayer, and the other player had the same issue.

I believe its worse. Here you can see that a steam trawler cannot even be built on a costal tile. In the second screenshot you can see that this is because under "Can be built on" steam trawler is empty. I checked the Update 7 Open Beta changelog and I don't see any mention of this being fixed yet.

This issue is fixed in the current Open Beta!

I loaded up an advanced start to test this. Here's me able to build a steam trawler.

That sounds promising--but for whatever reason it doesn't help on a game started on an earlier build. Weirdly, my vassals have no trouble building steam trawlers. Anyway, hopefully fixed for new games as you say.

I believe most Open Beta changes don't take effect in games started before the latest build. For example, deep water utility ships still have the same stats in my pre-Open Beta game
