Unable to Zoom

On entering the game (have tried Ivar the Boneless in 867 and Malcolm King of Scotland in 1066) the map scale will not change when you try to zoom. The rendering changes from the paper map to the political map and the coat of arms for the various countries will grow in size (as I try to zoom in) but the perspective doesn't change. I have updated video drivers and am waiting on win10 to update.

Do you have any controller plugged by chance? If yes, try unplugging them.

Just spent 20 minutes staring at the map and clicking all the buttons wondering why it didn't zoom in... my god..

God damn controller was upside down and the analog stick was pressed down.
