The last time I fought the Unbidden on 25x difficulty, the Defense Fleet that's twice as powerful as a roaming fleet that's meant to sit on the portal and defend it in case of attack actually behaved exactly like a roaming fleet. It travelled the galaxy feasting on planets and conquering star systems. This was on the most recent build of the game on the Series X with all DLC enabled
