I'm trying to model an overhanging model, so that when the ground is taken out below it you see the model. However, I end up getting grey basement texture on the model, rather than mine. Does anyone know how to avoid this?

having the same issue. I read through the posts for the Sunken Plaza asset on the workshop but the modeller says he never experienced the issue so that was no help.

if anyone knows how to fix the default cement texture when an asset has parts under ground level then those of us who model can start putting out some more fancy stuff like sea walls, and canals and what not.

It's hard-coded to certain building types I believe. It's a clever solution really, the engine seems to extend to final loops of edges to meet the terrain level and recolors them concrete so buildings foundations match the terrain.

But it would be nice to have an override for it, I ran into the same issue myself trying to make a Magical Trash Hole for chuckles.
