Not sure if this is a thing about the mod, the game in general - or a thing at all, but I am wondering.

In my current game, I have four bastard children - and each of them was not only born "sickly", but with at least two negative health traits. (One had Clubfooted, Hunchback, Dwarf, Stutter, Ugly, Maimed in addition to Sickly) Now my character has 14 children and none of the ten legitimate ones has any of those traits; in fact one even has "quick". So it makes me wonder if bastards have a higher chance of getting those negative health traits? (And why?)

actually, in the game coding itself there are DNA codes for every character, and certain "DNA combinations" increase the chances of having negative physical traits. It's not Bastard specific, but the bastards mothers might be a little....inbred.

But if you consider that eight different mothers are involved and only the four my character was not married to produced those kids with these traits...just made me wonder.

Sounds like their mother was from Mantarys.

Mantarys is cursed and has these defects.
