1.03b patch literally kills my computer making me wait a couple of minutes for thr day to change, and runs slow event with extremely fast. interface shows my version to be 1.00 CRWJ, but when I try to install 1.1 it says I already have a newer patch. how to uninstall the patch?
You cannot uninstall a patch level, except for one (rather drastic) method. Wipe the game from your system, reinstall the original version from CD, and apply the patch level of your choosing (if any)
As for your second suggestion. I would not recommend that. It means using an older executable with database files that are intended for the newer patch level. All sorts of weird things can happen then.
At the very least we cannot support such a mismatch, so doing it as at your own risk.
