uninstalling...

well i know this has been asked a million times and its stickied but ive done everything in the sticky and it still doesnt uninstall completely. ive searched through the registry using the "find" option and wiped out everything to do with hearts of iron or doomsday, there is nothing left of it in any of my program files and i have no clue what else there is to delete . and every time i try and uninstall it using the auto-play thing it just says something about core files and locks up my computer for a long time, after which it just closes down and accomplishes nothing.

Have you deleted hoi2 files in the installshield folder?

Have you tried running a registry cleaner (either commercial or one of the shareware/freeware variety) to try and find problems ?

If you're a bit wary you should be able to use the cleaner to just find problems, make a note of the them and use REGEDIT as usual.
