I hereby present my unit mod to be freely used in the next C.O.R.E. versions. ;)

It's mainly the new models.csv file I'm trying to push trough here, but I wouldn't mind seeing the other features included in C.O.R.E. as well. :D

Heh, you seem to be monitoring this forum 24/7. :D You replied both my threads I created almost instantaneously.

24/7 might be an exaggeration but I tend to be connected quite extensively both at work and home (but not yet while travelling). I'm planning to be first in line for a cybernetic interface to the Internet once they perfect that technology :cool: :D ;)

Read through your announcement thread btw, looks like you've put a lot of effort into this. I'll be interested to see the effect of moving the mech unit activation and how it integrates with existing OOBs although has some knock-on effect on AI file development of course (more work, *sigh*) ;)

I'll surely use it - BTW, what was changed in tech and units files? At first glance I see that carriers are much more resilent...

The only tech change was the moving of mech infantry activation from Motorized Warfare to Armored Spearhead doctrine. In unit files the changes were to increase mot/mech speed to 10 and some slight adjustments to the fighter specs. I'll post the exact value changes when I get home (can't remember them).

EDIT:

The exact value changes for fighters are (in 1.0a):

- basic multirole fighter: air defence 3 -> 4, tactical attack 1 -> 2
- basic escort: tactical attack 0 -> 1
- improved multirole fighter: tactical attack 2 -> 3
- improved escort: tactical attack 1 -> 2
- advanced intercetor: air attack 13 -> 11, tactical attack 1 -> 0
- advanced multirole fighter: tactical attack 3 -> 4
- advanced escort: tactical attack 2 -> 3

I kind of swapped the roles of rocket and jet fighters. Now the rocket fighters are very short range, very fast interceptors while jet fighters are medium range, fast multirole air superiority fighters. This is closer to historical, and also makes rocket fighters more useful. The following changes reflect this ideology.

- basic rocket fighter: air attack 13 -> 15, air defence 8 -> 6, speed 800 -> 900, range 300 -> 200
- basic jet fighter: air attack 15 -> 13
- sm rocket fighter: air attack 16 -> 20, air defence 10 -> 8, speed 1100 -> 1200, range 400 -> 300
- sm jet fighter: air attack 20 -> 18, speed 1200 -> 1100
- vtol fighter: tactical attack 4 -> 6
