Okay. Yeah, they've been getting a little better. But releasing a complete rundown of a DLC a day or two before it goes live is a far cry from meaningful gameplay and development updates. Eugen has a recent history (i.e. in Red Dragon) of agonizingly long patch cycles, and a say-nothing approach to major game changes and balancing priorities. Need I remind you of the tortured summer we spent with centurion spam and one-crit-kill SAS while he waited months for Eugen to decide to patch? Or do you remember the time when Vasily lost his marshal status and got banned from the forums for leaking gameplay and unit stat changes that a thirsty playerbase was delighted to see after months of pessimism? But Eugen, because they're afraid of 'doom prophets' felt like they couldn't be assed to actually manage their community or keep us in the loop.
Brings to mind this gem:

Of course you remember that. You were always on the wrong side, back before you got disillusioned and gave up the green name.
Now we have Steel Division, a game that's almost certainly within three months of being released and we don't have a single gameplay video. Just a goofy, generic, show-nothing trailer
and a handful of screenshots. Forgive me rolling my eyes at the idea that we should look at silhouettes of Panzer IVs and all try to guess the unit like we're all eight years old again and playing 'GUESS THAT POKEMON!' (pic related:

Steel Division looks good. Really good. And I can't wait for the beta to open up so people can really sink their teeth into it and discover how it really plays. But come on, Eugen has never been exactly open and transparent with game development, and their 'hype generation' previews are amateurish at best.
