Hello all! I long ago planned to write an AAR but haven’t enough time and fact that English is not my native language restrained me. Previously I planned to made a semi-interactive AAR with elections every 10 years, and already made some parties but decided to made a regular AAR first. I already played until 2439 and when finally decided to write an AAR. So let’s move on.

Spoiler: Pre-space history of the USE

2078 – After TPP and TTIP integration Administration of Northern Hemisphere formed

2111 – Isaac Zederbaum was born in New Haven.

2121 – ANH entered into agreements with Latin Union, African Union and the rest of non-aligned nations

2127 – A Constitution of the United States of Earth was adopted. Four parties emerged. States Rights party advocated state rights in the face of Global government. Federalist party advocated centralization and unification and see Global government as a brotherhood of many equal members. Centralist fraction split from Federal party thought that more developed and prosperous countries should have more rights, power and influence in world government, but more responsibility too. And, finally, Antiglobalst coalition was a coalition of various groups who opposed to Global government or, at least view on it as a necessarily and lesser evil.

2129 – Karl Hoffman from States rights party elected as first USE president

2134 – Isaac Zederbaum graduated from MIT

2139 – Despite ingravescent environment and global warming Karl Hoffman reelected to a second term

2149 – Keitsuke Harada from States rights party won 2149 presidential elections

2151 - Carol Brooks was born

2153 – Bradley Stiles and Salvadore Gonzalez were born

2154 – Hiyori Okada was born in Osaka

2155 – Earth government started an Ark program

2156 – Isaac Zederbaum proposed a wormhole travel through the space

2159 – Harada administration can’t handle the ecological crisis and federalist nominee Francois le Gall defeats the incumbent in 2159 elections

2162 – Anika Bhandary was born

2169 – Francois le Gall reelected to a second term

2170 – Agustina de la Cruz was born

2173 – building a wormhole station on the Earth’s orbit started

2175 – Aditya Bhandary was born. Carol Brooks graduated from MIT and started to work as Isaac Zederbaum assistant

2179 – Felix Farnsworth from Centralist party elected as a fourth USE president and pushes for the further centralization

2181 – The Ark ship has left the Earth

2183 – during the first activation the wormhole station exploded and collapsed, more than hundred people died

2189 – President Farnsworth elected to a second term

2191 – Ntsebo Xoko was born in Capetown

2193 – Carol Brooks suggested a warp travel method. It seems that it works

2195 – Isaac Zederbaum died at age 84.

2199 – Bradley Stiles from Federalist party Elected as a President.

Part I. The early Space Age

In 2200 humanity, leaded by Bradley Stiles started the exploration of nearby systems.

USE at 2201

2201 year will be remembered by two major discoveries. The strange form of crystal space life were discovered by Agustina de la Cruz in the nearby systems on 2201.06.21. Also the ancient predecessors race Vultaum Star Assembly was dicovered on 2201.12.17. Later, in the system Alpha Centauri more Vultaum’s artefacts were discovered on 2204.10.22. But there were no signs of Vultaum presence. It seems that a Galaxy is dark and dangerous place. To ensure humanity’s positions in the future president Bradley Stiles enabled a Encouragement of Free Thought 2207 Act. In one of the neibourghoud system on 2208.10.22 de la Cruz found a Vultaum’s spacesuit which helped us to better understand physiology of these four-meter worms. Finally, in 2209 the first human settlement outside the Solar system was established in Sirius system and named Tesla. However, Humanity still don’t have enough colonists and environmental problems still unsolved. In this atmosphere 2210 elections began.

1) Bradley Stiles, from Federal party, 57 years old investor and truly champion of the people and fleet proponent.

2) Sota Okamoto, Centralist, 49 years old, orbital researcher and champion of the people, industrialist

3) Alma El-Ghazali, States rights party, 48 years old, corvette proponent, born on the humanity first space station, orbital miner

4) Aditya Bhandary, Antiglobalist party, young 35 years old charismatic populist, younger brother of Earth’s Governor Anika Bhandary, fertility preacher that advocated population growth for future colonization and interests of agrarian regions, orbital miner.

Surprisingly Aditya Bhandary defeated the incumbent. Sooner after elections on 2210.11.27 Aditya Bhandary accepted Habitable Worlds Survey program from Biological studies department. But no time to spare on microbes! Where is the state, and there is a private initiative. On 2211.07.17 the space piracy was born. Immediately new corvettes were launched. Admiral Hiyori Okada sooner defeated pirates and destroyed their base on 2214.01.04. On the next day (2214.01.05) Agustina de la Cruz find in Ambisia system find alien tablets. Agustina de la Cruz like xeno literature, on 2219.12.23 she find an alien monolith and engraved epic on it in Inegore system.

During the 2210s Bhandary administration focused on the Earth’s issues, fighting for improvement life of regular people, fight against inequality and slums. In 2220 presidential race participated five candidates

1)Aditya Bhandary, Antiglobalist party, 45 years old incumbent, advocating his old platform

2)Erich Kreutz, from Federal party, young 32, industrialist with an architectural sense and fleet proponent, born on the space station

3)Statists nominated scientist and orbital researcher Agustina de la Cruz, 49 years old, with strong and deep connections within establishment

4)Zi Wan, 47 years old Centralist iron leady, resilient space miner, a true personification of humanity’s new frontier spirit.

5)Zhu Zheng, independent candidate, 28 years old explorer and shipbuilder.

Aditya Bhandary easily won reelection at a second term. At 2221.03.22 Ntsebo Xoko was appointed as Tesla’s governor. In 2222 in Alpha Centauri system the Einstein colony was established and Felix Lee appointed as governor. In 2225 on Laverkor first sentient alien life was discovered. They were on the same level as mankind at the end of 19th century, so it was the matter of time when they discover nuclear fission and primitive satellites. In 2227 Rovgeddi system human scientists took control over the ancient alien power station. But where were not only a good news during second Bhandary administration. On 2222.04.05 president’s older sister and Earth governor Anika Bhandary (2261 – 2222) died from alcoholism. In 2223 while studying an anomaly Agustina de la Cruz and USSS Venture was destroyed by some kind of lava burst from the planet’s surface. Scientist Nasir Akkad was promoted and a construction of a new ship started. In 2228 Nasir Akkad discovered abandoned aerostat settlements on the gas giant’s orbit in the one of the neibourghoud system. In 2227 head of Physics department Carol Brooks (2151 – 2227) passed away. But the main events during Bhandary took place outside the Human space. At 2228.03.02 the first sentient FTL race was discovered. Humanity made contact with Lilarobius Star Republic (or “flower people” as common citizens describe them).

During the second Bhandary’s build up in colonies and construction of new ships became a heavy burden to state’s budget, the government finances were in completely mess. Opposition constantly attacked the government for failing attempts to improve the economy. During the 2230 president elections four candidates challenged the incumbent Aditya Bhandary

1) Marco Antonelli, Federalist, 35 years old architect with close ties with establishment.

2) Ntsebo Xoko, 39 year old space miner and expansionist and Centralist nominee. She introduced to public big and complex economic recovery plan, as an experienced investor she knew what she was saying.

3) Ayudhaya Naik, Statist, 46 year old, expansionist and orbital researcher from

Ntsebo Xoko defeated the incumbent and was elected as a president of the USE. During the elections Salvadore Gonzalez (2153 -2230), Head of Biological department passed away. Radmila Ostrovsky appointed to replace him. In 2231 USE established contacts with Sildor Conefederation. Sildors referred as “space elves” because of shape of their ears. In 2231 admiral Hiyori Okada (2154 – 2231) died, Zi Cheng was promoted to replace her. In 2236 mankind established a Newton colony and made first contact with geonosians (I hope that I don’t violate any copyright). Former president Aditya Bhandary was appointed as Newtown governor, Thomas Houghton came on his place in Tesla colony. Aditya Bhandary unsuccessfully challenged Ntsebo Xoko as independent candidate in every president elections until his death in 2253 at the age of 78. In 2237 Nasir Akkad discovered big ocean under ice on the Hixam III and found a ferment with curative and regenerative effect in some forms of local fauna. Also Akkad discovered an ancient alien geodesist mark in Joinum system. Three months later asteroid crippled his ship, professor Akkad and couple of his assistants barely escaped in capsule, all crew died. Ahh, irony, earlier he found a couple of ancient capsules with dead alien officers. In 2240s contacts with XuraCorp were esteblished.

In 2241 were found mineral rich asteroids on the southern frontier. Contact with Yalon Republic was established. In 2245 after mining stations were finished aggressive space lifeforms awaken. Swarm destroyed all USE mining and research facilities. Humanity’s space fleet were too weak and can’t deal with these creatures. In 2245 second science ship was ready and Na Xu was appointed as a captain and Na Xu successfully finished Habitable Worlds Survey program in the same year. Two years later she found a ancient alien spaceship in quicksand on Urill III. In 2248 operation to pull ship out of the sand finished by completely failure, ropes cut ship like a knife through butter, at least mankind got some scrap-metal. In 2250 Na Xu discovered a ancient battlefield in the one’s frontier systems, and organized an expedition here in 2251 that helped USE to improve some weapon technologies. In 2249 de La Cruz colony was established named after Agustina de la Cruz. Sooner authorities realized that planet’s magnetic field affecting computers and scientific equipment slowing research. In 2253 USE signed a migration treaty with Sildors and the first alien citizens appeared. A couple years later USE signed an association treaty with Sildor-leading Federation - Blessed Axis.

During the 2250s droid workers and servants provided by US Droidworks became a common thing in human society.

Spoiler: Ledirship and Known Universe c.2247

When Radmila Ostrovsky passed away in 2254, Desmond Berton replaced her. In 2255 the Colony and Sector Descartes were found, Elena Rychenkov was appointed governor. In the 2250s Humanity made a contact with their northern neighbor – Shabtak Allied Territories. Xenophobe Shabtaks hate everyone and everyone hate shabtaks. In the 2250s it was clear that USE have two directions of possible expansion – to the South, and conquer Xeltek worlds or attack Shabtaks. Xeltek already have lost war in early 2260s to Sildor alliance and lost two planets including their homeworld to Xeltek puppet state. So Xeltek were choosen as priority target. The final years of Ntsebo Xoko’s presidency associated with large losses governors Felix Lee (2182 -2257), Louis McMillan (2196 – 2261) and Head of Physic department Veronica Scott (2183 – 2263) died. Ntsebo Xoko was the one of the most popular presidents and died in office in 2265 at 74 years old. Federalist nominee Dmitri Statnik was elected president in 2265. The Century of two presidents has begun.
