Ok had real trouble getting units to go into the reserve pool, or scraping them. Sometimes they will go into reserve for a second then re-deploy. All initiative options are set to off, advisor has no options selected, auto deploy is off. Its the 60s and I am stuck with halftrack units that wont scrap and cant be sold :mad:
 
Hmm, that's strange. Do you have the 'Allow Minister Control' option in the Rules of Engagement tab set to off for those units? That could be why.

Yep, all minister controls for the unit are locked, all military policies/options are set for manual. However I know have worked out it is exclusivly 3 halftrack units. I am playing as australia and 2 of them are stationed in port moresby and the third on an oil rig of the west coast... (how it is on a ocean/beach tile Idont know).
they are all stuck on idle, wont accept any commands or move at all.
 
Hi Balthagor - I can manually move the units in New Guinea around but they refuse to leave the island, scrap or reserve. Mostly they only move a small way before they run out of supplies though.
Also have the game on steam - the code is not compatible/working on the paradox forums (not sure why).
 
You can always try to manually return those units in New Guinea. Try using the Sea Transport movement option. If that doesn't work, move them to the closest port, then use embark to get them in the water and manually reassign the Merchant Marine destination.
 
Ok after a very long time *many months) I managed to inch those units to the sea and once they reached the port they were able to move/disband. However units are still stuck on offshore rigs.
