After completing a battle and picking loot, I am getting an access violation intermittently:

I see you have ModTek and at least one mod installed. Are they enabled when you get this crash?

If so can you test with them disabled please?

So this issue is the exact same as mine except it happens during missions for me.

I get this with some regularity after loot but before Argo reloads. Occasionally the same error during mission load (usually Urban). Hasn't happened during a mission yet, though.

There are a few threads out there on Unity Access Violations. After reading through those, I've tried, without a permanent fix:

  • Memtest (memory is fine - and 32 GB should suffice)
  • Uninstalling Citrix
  • Creating an exception in antivirus software for BT
  • Reinstalling the C++ redistributables
  • Updating graphics drivers

The only suggestion I haven't tried is running BT as an Administrator.

Those three are the same fault offset so very likely a game bug, I'm afraid! But they are different from the one in the previous post, not sure what to make of that ...

In any case if these are reproducible from a save game file I can lodge a bug report on it. I have to say though that I doubt there will be any more patches for this game at this point.

Thanks for the response! Unfortunately, issues are intermittent - when the game crashes, the issue usually does not repeat. Since each crash happens at loot screen, which requires a 20 minute successful battle, replication is both time consuming & challenging... If I find a save file that consistently abends, I'll upload.
