Could somebody point me to the Bitter peace/New World order Events please, i can't find them. I need to trigger the defeat of UK manually, it doesn't seem to fire(possibly because i beat UK as Japan).

I have seen no problems in my testing of SMEP for DD so far (GER GC 36 to Sept. 40), but will have to update to 0.12 before continuing.
The German surrender event chain starting with event 3417 seems to be broken. 3417 triggers, but then nothing happens... What is the chain supposed to look like?
Adding more events momentarially, I couldn't add the vichy_france ones immediately due to a bug someone reported . They will be done in an hour or so (provided I can fix the bug). If you could post them here though, rather than pm I would appreciate it, not that I didn't anyway

Arrrgh, you are killing me, i abandoned my Japan game v0.1 in '42 and started a fresh Germany GC with version 0.12 to test it. One bug so far in v0.12: On 15. April '36 Nat. China went with unified front in X'ian incident. Sorry, just killing the bugs as I see them, expect plenty more till we reach a stable beta
You should have less and less reason to switch versions as we progress however, as you can test the event chains and such even with a bug or two in others. So just upgrade versions when you feel you want to test it, don't feel obligated to do so
At a quick glance, I cannot find the united front (against japan not ussr) in the Nat China or Japan event files, i'll take a look for you at the trigger, when I find it. Might be later tonight before I get back to you on that though.

Playing as Germany, I had a double "Danzig or Bust."
Ironically, the first option was "Poles fold." and then the other one was the going to war option.

SMEP events are apparently randomly added to nation AI files such as romania.txt and germany.txt. This is so in the "real" (non-DD) SMEP as well.

As to your question: Well there are several AI changes in the various files, many commented helpfully by jedi
There are many events in the germany, romania, hungary, vichy, france, austria, japan etc files. Some originals have been commented out with # and others moved but mostly all files were just added to.
In essence the only thing you can do is to get a copy of the original events and put the others side by side to see the difference. Many are obviously bigger in size (or just a quick glance at notepads scroll bar will show you this)
I would guess they will both be in the Germany file but I cannot be sure without looking. (Several french/germany/vichy events were just added to v0.13)

I still haven't found the china united front against japan events but I have been a bit busy as of late. When I get a free hour or so i'll find them.
Regardless i'll put it on the list of what to fix for the next v0.2 update.
Hey Mark, i've got 3 events "Private iniative boost industry..." in my GER GC until '39,that's very, very much, stroke of luck or maybe SMEP related? Otherwise all went fine, no doubles.
BUG: I've beaten France in October '39 and then on the fifth November i get the vanilla event: "Destroying the Maginot Line" instead of the SMEP one with the option to plunder the line for the Atlantic Wall.

The event chain moves along a little, but it still doesn't work properly. Czechoslovakia and Poland are not puppeted or put in my alliance, Italy is reverted back to its pre-war borders, Vichy France still remains and Belgium, Netherlands and German-occupied France is owned by me.markmid said:

Not sure if it's been mentioned (or is intended), but in 0.13, the Chinese event for moving the industry to the interior fired at least 4 times. I don't know if the trigger occurs when the Japs takes over a certain territory, but they were repeated moving forwards and back a lot in China.
