Hello everyone! We have another hotfix tackling some stability issues ahead of our more-substantial 1.16.1 Update (which will contain a variety of bugfixes and balance adjustments). Check the changelog below for specifics.

When loading the save version 1.16.00, the DNA of all the characters changes, the buildings of the estates (Venice and Byzantium) are missing. When opening the estate, it is empty.

Still no courtiers in 867 starts that aren't family, realm holy person or guests. Still can't believe something this game breaking wasn't discovered before the update launch. As a 867 start enjoyer, have not been able to play the game for over a week.

can you read first post ? this HotFix not about fixes bugs.

Was that a bug? I started as Gotland and thought it was part of optimization!

Yes it is
If it was, the bug reports would have been tagged "As Designed" and included a short explanation. They have always been very efficient at properly tagging valid and invalid bug reports. It was tagged "Confirmed" which means it is a bug. My guess is their optimization mechanics have caused this and they did not fully inquire as to how much it effects early game play. If they don't fix it, I will not be playing the game. I may return when they add merchant republics as it was one of my favorite game play types in CK 2.

Obviously not intended for small counts to not have enough people in their court to field a council.

no idea what you guys did in this last update but i have constrant crashes now even worse then before, this is what i get with each crash. Before the update i could play for 8 hours straight never a crash now every 6 minutes and that is on default game no mods in this case sincei use 2 pc's 1 for with mods and the other is without mods.

I've had that one for a while, at least since 1.15.00; seems to happen about the time the audio kicks off. I've been avoiding having the game minimized while loading to get around it.
