George and I spoke about it this morning, he'll take a look for any obvious bumps in the code but we had a game running here in the studio that made it to the year 2010 and the US GDP/c got to 80k so growth is certainly possible with the economic changes of update 3.

Interesting perspective and effects on gameplay. However, since the gdp, inflation and unemployment arent auto adjusting after you annex a country, how do we know the population is being integrated properly? that is what could be throwing the economics off since it would have a huge ramification on supply and demand.
I obviously hope there isnt an issue, if there is though just trying to bring it to light to help them troubleshoot it.
I am looking forward to the full version of update 3 so i can start a new game...I am so torn...Argentina...so i can kick it, develop and watch how the rest of the world plays out...after i take over brazil of course, or should i start with west germany and make a forced unification happen...even though ill always be tagged as west germany....hmmm...

When will you relase new patch ? The game is really good, While i am playing I really enjoy. But it needs social unrest, Rebellions and coups. We need patch. thx

Don't remember, but that one was left to run without much player interaction. We've usually got 2 machines constantly running the game, just letting time pass to make observations on the game model and what the AIs do.
Sorry for the late reply but I was away for a while. An update: it's the year 1966 now and the speed for each turn is approximately 21 seconds. Jumped up from 12 back in 1954. Is this still normal? I read previously someone was getting 9 seconds with this patch but is 21 seconds still okay?
