Salute Gents, new here so I will apploigize up front for any ignorance. I have enjoyed HOI since the begining and absolutely love the game. The Core Mods are outrageously awsome, I could not say enouph. Hats off to all who have put forth the work and effort. You are the best IMHO. Ok just had to get that off my chest. Figured you guys deserve it.
Now I am curious, in upgrading units we can prioritize them, they are near impossible to track what is doing what just a lump sum of IC to upgrade out of date units. However what if we do not want to upgrade units. I know sounds odd. For example, I like to keep some early light armor for the speed they have, but inevitably unless I pay serious attention to them, they will upgrade to med armor and speed decreases. There could be other examples and reasons others may want to use this, but this is the top of my mind. Would it be possible to have a box next to the priorty box that would read do not upgrade? I think it would really assist upgrade management.
If not I am still having a rough time with it and if anyone has any methods they use to track this stuff please let me know. Still an awsome game. Off to war I go...

As long as you have IC assigned to the upgrade slider, any unit that can be upgraded, will be upgraded. There is no way in HoI2 to prevent this, except through the tech files, which will just dead end the upgrade process. Otherwise, you're stuck with having units upgrade.
