Didn´t got it too in my first try. I found this today, maybe it will help. I hope changing the game rules f.e. "no disasters" didn´t effect the trophies 
I don't think using the no disasters and the prefab buildings rules would disable achievements, otherwise it would give you some kind of warning, patch notes also didn't mention rules would affect achievements.
Outsourcing is really important because you will most likely not get hawking institutes unless you are lucky enough with the anomalies to get you enough techs displayed, otherwise don't bother with it.
Lastly, you can select the AI mystery, when it triggers it will give you the network node research for free but you need like 4 labs to make it worth it since it doesn't generate research by itself, only boosts the research generated by the other buildings in the same dome.
