User Defined nations...Need some help

Okay I have added two user defined nations to the game, using the tags U06 and U08. U06 is call Desert and the U08 is called Peoples Republic of Mexico. When the events fire for these to come about, what I get is USER DEFINED has done what ever the event says.

I have the tags in the revolts text file with the correct names and commas etc...I have the events done correctly. Why I am still getting the USER DEFINED bit as the name of the nation even though I have the name of said nation with the revolt tags as well as in the events themselves?

Any ideas or thoughts would be welcome.

The names are stored somewhere else. Go to the config sub-directory and open the doomsdaytext.csv file with notepad. Search for U06 and you'll find this line:

U06;User Defined;Paramétrable;Definito dall'utente;Def. por usuario;Benutzerdefiniert;Zdefiniowane przez u¿ytkownika;;Îïðåäåëÿåòñÿ ïîëüçîâàòåëåì;;;x

(btw, AOD supports these languages: English;French;Italian;Spanish;German;Polish;Portuguese;Russian;;Extra2;x)

Add the names of your newly added revolters and they'd finally work as designed.

Last hint: use a mod-enabler like JSGME for modifying your game so that you can easily undo any changes which don't work as expected
