Has anyone tested what the valid date range is in the EU engine? Does it use a signed/unsigned int/long? Is there any annoying bound-checking?

Yesterday I tried setting a scenario starting date to 1392 and it worked.:)

Yesterday I tried setting a scenario starting date to 1392 and it worked.:)

But when you hit the start game button the game jumps to Jan 1st, 1492. Doesn't it?
