LOL...Birger are you really serious on remaking all CoA's? There are more than 1000 CoA's to be made....

Let's start with the latin/orthodox, and if you make an action it can be made automatic. "Just" need the sourceimages. :D

I have the drafts of CoA's.
The old ones were lost, but over 500 pieces were still remained.
If you want, I'll send you them.

EDIT:
Could you apply your new shadow to my drafts?
I'd like to see how they look like. Thanks.

If you want the correct arms for Dyfud you should just use the lower one, (a golden lion rampant between golden roses on a blue ground), that's the arms of Gwynfardd, Prince of Dyfed.
The arms you posted is the modern arms of Dyfed. :)

The Palaelogos arms for Byzantium is actually gules, a cross and four B's or.
That looks like the part of the Byzantine flag. :)

The old arms of Wallachia should actually be a eagle standing on a helmet with a cross on it's back. :)
Looking like this:

Where did you find that? :)
The only arms I've seen is this, http://www.ngw.nl/int/ita/prov/roma.htm, and of course that SPQR one...

I can make you a template and a action so that you can make all the shields by yourself. ;)

I believe it's Romagna, not Roma ;)

Please do no turn this thread into another CoA discussion. We have threads for that alread, so hijacking BeBro's thread isn't nice...

Of course it is... :eek:o
Sorry for that, if you want you can always move our posts to the request thread. :)

A small request, could I have a plain copy of the kingdom shield without the royal regalia. :)

It is in the upload forum now (the second zip file in my thread there), including some small other additions :)

Well, I also think its nicely made... However, I personally have a little difficulty in seing the difference in the Shield-shape of a Duchy and a County. I think that small nuance isn't the best way to split those two apart.
Couldn't the Shield-shape of the Duchy not be with a pattern around, just like the portait of a Duke? And if not, could the shape then not be more "square" than "triangled"?
Dont get me wrong, I could not have made anything like that!! I think its SO cool made. Just a response after I have tried it...

Yeah Veldmaarschalk has made a similar point....I guess I'll update the shield(s) somehow, I'll just need some time for it....;) In the meantime when you click on a shield, it says on the left if it is a duchy or a county.

Hi BeBro

I dont use the shields (prefer the woodtexture ;) ) but I have to say that I relly do like the other stuff you've done. The Traits are particularly good. The province icons took a bit of time getting the hang of (prosperous, rich, poor, malaria etc) but they are a vast improvement on the original.

Good work, keep it up!

Wow, I love it. Great improvement over the standard stuff, especially love the prestige/gold/piety icons which were essentially placeholders before.

Just a small comment - shouldn't the orb and scepter on the royal shield be reversed? The scepter should be on the "right" hand, and it is determined in heraldry as if the person was holding the shield, not standing in front of it (ergo, our left is the shield's right, and vice versa).

Hm, have not thought about it when making the gfx....maybe I change that too. Meanwhile, as an alternative, you could use the king's shield without scepter and stuff I posted as addition recently.

I must say these look fantastic....I at first didn't liked them as the woodtexture CoA's really grew on me, but as more and more I look at these they look far better....hope you people will really make it as it would improve the game in a gfx sense enourmously....not to mention it would give the shields a more appropriate metallic look. :)

Yeah, I like them too. :D
But...I don't have the energy any more to remake all CoA's...

Hehe...I know you don't....who would. Great job you are doing. :)

Regarding Bebro's shield graphics, specifically the confusion over count and duke.

Use the King shield without the orb and scepter for Duke shield, it looks good and you can discern the differences in all shield types then.

Yeah I caved in BeBro, used your shield pack and they are coooool.
