Vassal pays homage to me while I'm elsewhere

Description​

While traveling outside my realm, a vassal showed up at my capital to pay homage to me. I was able to accept him and he paid homage to me as if I were present in my capital.

This should not be possible: the events shown make sense only if both my vassal and I are in the same place.

Steps to reproduce​

While traveling, accept a vassal's offer to pay homage. The save game is at a point where I've accepted the choice to allow the vassal to pay homage, with both the homage event and a travel event occurring simultaneously.
