Might not be a CKII+ only thing, but Googling this has turned up surprisingly little help. I am playing a Baltic Merchant Republic with reformed pagan religion. I am High Priest, but not currently the elected Chancellor. Charlie declares Holy War on my liege, the current chancellor, over Obitritia(sp?) He specifically wants to take Rugen, which contains one of my faith's holy sites, Arkona. I park a 10 stack on Rugen, beat back a pair of enemy 10 stacks and capture a co-attacker, the King of Mercia, but the war score doesn't change. I am both hostile to the attackers but clearly not a co-defendant. I have no way to offer to join my lieges defensive holy war.

As my liege was in the middle of attacking the Norwegian coast, his levies are already up, and thus there is no Federation flagged armies in the realm for me to hide my men under. I also see the title holder to Arkona, a Theocratic Duke no less, hasn't call his levies up to defend a Holy Site in his own realm.

Is there a way to fix this? I have read I could declare an offensive holy war to get my battles to count, but I don't want to make Charlie a defender in a holy war.

How could any chronicle of such a holy war not include the pagan High Priest twice successfully repelling 10,000 man assaults on the Holy Temple of Arkona? Is there some console cheat way to get the game to see me as a co-defender?

This is normal for CK2. You are not automatically included in your liege's wars -- he raises levies from you, but that's it.
