Got Stannis as King. Warring with the North still, suddenly, randomly the Westerlands became independent without any message or notification or event. And then 2 weeks game time later the Reach became independent all of a sudden with no event or notification. Someone help tell me wtf is going on? Will Dorn be next

Reactions:
The GoT Mod uses a "Megawar" mechanic that, whenever the Iron Throne empire breaks down with internal strife and warfare, allows the vassals to choose between remaining neutral, actively support or oppose the throne or the rebels, or sometimes try and declare independence. This means that every time a major war starts the throne will split into the different kingdoms, and the Lords Paramount will take a stand on whether to help you out or fight against you, or just not fight at all. When the war is over they will reunite and become your vassals again - unless they fought for independence and won.

It is likely that the Paramounts of the Westerlands and the Reach does not like you very much, given that you were just at war with them as well, and thus, they aren't very keen on helping you out against the North.

Yeah, that happened to me too, simply vassals become independent without any warning, it would be nice a decision in which you can decide to wage war on those who declare independence

They're not really independent. The act of taking advantage of a war to declare your own independence means declaring your own war against the liege. If they didn't, they will rejoin with you after the war is finished. Lords Paramount (and vassals of your enemy) that decide to join your side in the war also become independent and act as allies rather than vassals, which means you get their whole army. It's possible it might have been a glitch, but unless said vassals remained independent after all wars (both yours and any wars they might be part of) was over for a very long time it's working as designed.

I was playing as Drogo (Dothraki), at some point without events or war or anything of sort... ALL my vassals became instantly indipendent...

The event i had before this happened was something about a present for my wife, but i don't think this bug can be related...

I think it's different than that.

I also had this situation, both with playing Renly and Stannis, I think it shows that the Lannisters and Tyrells won't simply bend the knee once you take the Throne and KL (which is fine logic for me), but they rather declare themselves independent (Kings of the Rock and Reach) and you have to beat them to have them bend the knee (you get a royal de jure claim, same as the one for Iron Islands I think). So, lad, mount your horse and ride to Casterly Rock and Highgarden, and burn the shit (pardon my dothraki) out of those traitors and oathbreakers.
