Hello all,
I have one mod idea, that came to my mind long time ago. There are already lots of car mods in the Workshop. Ranging from old rusty wrecks to exotic, luxurious sport cars. And these vehicles are scattered randomly all over the random citizens.
Poor, uneducated citizens drive Lamborghinis, Ferraris, etc. and rich cims drive cars from 80s-90s. This is especially clearly seen in districts consisting of particular wealth residents. There are many expensive and luxurious cars in ghetto-like districts (Level 1) which is very wrong and unrealistic. First time this misfit was seen by me and other gamers when any cim was able to drive Sports car (vanilla)
Basically my idea of the mod is that we could be able to manually assign a car to a wealth (education) level. Or, car mod makers could define it in XML (similar as how RICO mod works).
For example, I take my BMW E34. It should be assigned to Uneducated cims and maybe Educated too. Because, I don't think that rich ppl in real life drive this BMW. While in Cities: Skylines my rich cims do it.
Second example is the opposite: My Volvo S60 II T6 should be assigned to Highly Educated cims and Well Educated too. In real life nobody earning minimum wages would afford to buy this car. But in the game they do.
It would be another mod that brings game step closer to realism
