"Adjustable Percentage of Vanilla spawn rate " ohhh... can it get up to 500%? i can hardly ever see traffic in my towns :D

Vehicles are still wobbling a lot and I didn't notice train accel/decel changed (they still enter stations way too fast and accelerate out of stations too fast), does it need the Stiffer Vehicles mod for those things to work?

No, that's actually not how it works. The mod does not influence the total amount of vehicle, just the weight between the vehicles. If you set SUV to 200, there will be twice as many SUVs as normal. If you set Pickups to 50, there will be half as many pickups as normal. Combined this will result in 4 times as many SUVs than Pickups, while not changing the total vehicle amount. I hope this makes sense. I will include a short explanation in the Mod Description.

This feature is meant to influence the distribution of vehicles. If you are building a rural, American town, you will likely see many Pickups and SUVs, so you increase the number. European towns might have many small cars, sedans, a few SUVs and almost no Pickup Trucks.
Some asian region have a lot of motorcycles and scooters, but no big cars, etc..

You need Stiffer Vehicles to reduce the wobbling of cars, yes, This mod only changes the speed parameters.

The trains' acceleration and deceleration is reduced by 2/3, so it should be significant. I will later add settings to further adjust this behaviour, so you can reduce it even more.

Great mod! Is there also any way to ban foreign trains from spawning and riding through my city from one end to the other? They are really messing up my train network. Thanks! :)
Yes mate there is, best way to achieve this is to totally separate your rail networks so have a separate system for only city based commuter trains and the same for cargo well they can interlink if you want I guess but what important is to have all your outside lines on their own private lines not connecting to any of your local infrastructure and that shall keep them away from your other lines at all times.

Thats also a good way, thanks!

I'm not sure if it's this mod or detailed descriptions mod (I've been disabling mods in batches and narrowed it down to one of these two), but one of today's updates caused the game to freeze on the "loading" screen between the logo screens and main menu. The entire app became unresponsive and after an Alt+Tab to desktop, the Steam app and entire desktop was also unresponsive, requiring PC to be rebooted via power switch.

If you are playing with dev mode enabled you can look for "traffic spawners" and those will spawn random vehicles.

To use them, use anarchy and add a short one way road linking to an inbound highway connection, place only one spawner per road (a second one will actually allow the vehicles from the first one to despawn.)

You can add several of these to get more vehicles, but only one per road. These will have random destinations at other outside connections so you will get through traffic.

If the shortest route is through your street network, they will use it. To get a good distribution of traffic you can add these little constructions on any or all inbound connections.

Teddy Radco made a short video about using these:

I think if you are unable to use mods you can unlock all tiles when you open the map and just add new one way inbound connections from the outside edge and connect them to the inbound highway without using the spawner because each inbound connection is technically a vehicle spawner.

There is also a mod called Outside Traffic: Fake Traffic Adjuster link: https://mods.paradoxplaza.com/mods/89607/Windows

I have not tried it and the mod has not been updated since September so I can't vouch for whether it works, but it may be worth a try.

If you are reading this on the mod page, click on the "open full discussion" button above and to the right. I posted an answer that includes a picture and a link to a youtube video that can't show on the mod page.

Could you do a noise controller mod? The game shows radio antennas and car parks as major noise emitters, which seems really strange given that humans can't hear radio signals and car parks are just asphalt.

Hey, @Mimonsi -- I just wanted to say I am so very thankful for this mod. Probably an odd thing to be excited about, but in particular for me, railroad crossing gates actually have a chance to lower before a passenger train crosses the intersection now -- hooray!
Are they close to the train station and the train accelerated too quickly before that? That's a neat side effect I haven't thought about, thanks for sharing this!
