Version 1.03 problems

Something definatly wrong here.
Who is the publisher of your game?
Did you get the right patch?
I would completely wipe the game from your drive and do a fresh install, only applying 1.03.

Paradox is the developer not the publisher.
You need the correct publisher version.
Publisher logo should be on your CD and box.
Eg. Strategy First, Pan Vision ...

The NA(SF version) is now on their web site see the Sticky thread named "latest patch is 1.03" at the top of the forum.

Make sure it is the SF version. Whos logo is on your CD, Manual and game box.

Did you get the patch from the SF site?

I would suggest a complete wipe of all HOI related stuff, including directories and registry entries, then do a fresh install. If that works okay then try installinf just the 1.03 patch.
