could it be some sort issue with different versions of windows?
I don't know Peter's config. I'm runnin XP home on this system.

Norgesvenn, Rictus and I tried connecting yesterday without success. We all have different pubication versions (Vision, UBI UK, SF respectively) though so it wasn't a huge surprise. :(

in the test Peter and I performed, we had to transmit save games via alternate means. This isn't really a big deal since it takes far less time to zip and send anyway and we've demonstrated the need to reboot (at least warm) between crashed anyway.

Apparently not an OS issue then because we were able to communicate just fine. :)

nope..

with the need to reboot are you then absolutely sure that its a tsr and not just some quirk of EU which can't load from the higher ramadresses., which could explain why you needed to reboot as the Ram would be nearly empty
