Version Problems

Everytime I try to join a game I get a "your version doesn't correspond to the hosts version" error. But looking at my version in the top right corner and his it's the exact same. Doomsday Armageddon 1.2 VBLV. What's the deal??

Hi, this seems to be happening to me too. I can play multiplayer on two machines here at the house on the same network, but whenever i try to connet to a friend's game or any other on valkrinet i get that message 'Your version doesn't correspond to hosts...' I am certain that my friend (and the others I've tried) were all using 1.2 (VBLB).

I have disabled the firewall and am not using a router. Any ideas?
