Very Strange Game...

I was playing Multi-Player with two friends. One was Germany, one was Britain, and I was SU. We started in 1939 using version 1.05c. First strange thing was that China started to win against Japan right off the bat... Which is just nuts. Second, Poland gave Germany a very hard time, taking several months to conqure. Finally, Germany coup'd Britain successfully, and Britain became Facist...

Very, VERY strange game indeed...

Just incase you're wondering, Britain won the war before I even got a chance to fight. The long war in Poland let Britain take over western Germany by January 1940...

I still don't see how Germany could have had such a huge problem with Poland that the UK was able to do so well.

I think he had a hard time because we were playing with the hardest AI difficulty... And I wouldn't call the player who played Germany an expert...

I want to know why he tried to coup Britain in the first place? Not like the Brits can join the Axis...

Whoever was playing Germany was probably new to HOI if it took him months to conquer poland and he thought he could bring the UK into the axis, in fact that coup probably helped Britain because it lowers CG demand and lets Britain declare war without taking huge dissent hits.
