Victoria I had Queen Victoria, Victoria II had Otto von Bismarck, what do you want to see on Vic III. I was hoping for either Garibaldi, Napoleon III, or Alexander III. What are some other figures you think epotimize this period of history?

Maybe someone like Franz Joseph of Austria, as he ruled for almost the entirety of the period.

If Victoria III started during the Napoleonic era, I'd choose Napoleon, because Victoria's era would've looked differently. Apart from Queen Victoria and Otto von Bismarck-Schönhausen, Emperor Franz Joseph would be another good option, as he reigned for several years and had influence on how the things shaped up.

Emperor Franz Joseph would be another good option, as he reigned for several years and had influence on how the things shaped up.

I would actually suggest Metternich as a dark horse candidate rather than Franz Joseph - not only is he arguably a more influential figure in Austria's history than FJ, but he more or less created the system that Europe was governed by until WWI, or at least the Franco-Prussian war.

On a serious note maybe Giuseppe Garibaldi?
One of the more spectacular generals of the time, you probably know him from Garibaldi's redshirts that had a crucial role in uniting Italy.
Both Lincoln and Lee would fit but both already feature on the AHD cover if I'm not mistaken.
