If it's true I feel sorry for Paradox if the product doesn't live up to the hype when it's released.

That's why you set expectations to a calm. Expect nothing. Don't panic, don't think it'll be all bad or suddenly the best thing since sliced bread.
Just be patient, wait and we'll see. But this surely is interesting to see.

This (suppoaed) logo looks very out of line for PDX, also as observed, it should be VicIII, not Vic 3, so.....

If it's a fake, and that well done, it's probably an "official" fake. Somebody put time and expertise into that logo, for instance, which wouldn't be a problem if it's going to get used somewhere in the actual product.

But P-dox games are all fantasy games, so no problems.
My only complaint would be that the logo has a very 1920:es feel to me, which admittedly is within the expected Victoria time period, but not during a lot of it.

Yeah, it looks a little art deco to me.
Speaking of, if it is true I have to wonder what will be the timeframe and what date are they starting at. I don't think they'll have alternate bookmarks because Vicky 2 only got one in an expansion and they dropped it in Imperator.

Fake or not, the forum software allows Paradox staff to write posts in advance and to schedule the date/time when they are published.
This one if real was probably meant to be published simultaneously with an announcement at PDXCon. But a slipup made it go out immediately.
Similar slipups have already happened in the past.
