Hey so I decided after watching a few videos on YT to give V2 the old college try again. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work anymore?

Essentially the intro video loads, and then I'm back to desktop, the watch icon just chills out, and when I open task manager it says the game is not responding.

There are no error messages given, it just sits there forever. I went outside and smoked two cigs while I waited to see if it would load, nothing.

I've deleted the contents of the chace folder in both the main archieve and the my documents archieve, please do not bother suggesting that.

I've also gone into the setting.txt file and set the "fullscreen" option to "no". But regardless it still attempts to load full screen with the same issues.

I've gone through and changed the version of the game I was playing, doesn't work.

I've removed the game from my harddrive, and completely redownloaded it via Steam, and the same fucking issue.

Anyone have any futher suggestions other than, don't bother playing V2?

*Sigh* I dug through the files I have a bit more, and noticed a "settings.txt" file in the My Documents archieve. Changed that fullscreen to no, still loads fullscreen, but it actually loads. Sorry for the bother.

Just for info :

Assuming you play on the last patch 3.04, then it's Borderless mode.
Borderless should be set to yes with Fullscreen at no for that, as it seems to be now.
Windowed would have both at 'no', but that can require editing the resolution slightly to prevent an issue with the mouse and scrolling.
