Victoria 3 crashes after initializing

Hi,

I just bought the game a few hours ago and so far, it crashes a couple of seconds after launching it. This happens both when I start it from the launcher and directly from victoria3.exe in the binaries folder. Here is the latest crash folder from Documents/ParadoxInteractive and the file from DxDiag.

I already tried uninstalling everything and intalling the game again. Same for the launcher.

Is there anyone who can point me to a solution? I would be very grateful.

From that error log it is clearly a video issue. Your AMD Radeon(TM) Vega 8 Graphics is the minimum required, so it should work. Do check for available driver updates for it

DXDIAG is a program you run from the Windows search box on the task bar. After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here. IF dxdiag.txt fails to attach here, rename it to dxdiag.log , or zip it up. Thanks.

We see some crashes in core Windows .exe files in there - are you having problems on this computer outside this game, would you say?

Memory: 8192MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 7104MB RAM
Page File: 4818MB used, 2285MB available

The game's minimum requirement is 8gb. Please expand your Windows paging file maximum size to 32gb

Optional: Increasing the paging file size on Windows computers

On computers that have 8 GB of RAM, the suggested paging file size is 16 GB.
