I'm surprised this question hasn't been asked (as far as I can tell).

Is there going to be a call for beta-testers for Victoria? I understand that a beta forum has already been opened, but for largely internal use.

If so, any idea when that might be?
 
Me too! I studied this era of history more closely than perhaps any other except classical history.
 
Damn now i have to choose between applying for this beta or for the CK beta. I'll probably apply to both and see which one i get into, if i get accepted into any that is;)

You know, almost a year ago I decided against putting my name in to the HOI beta because I wanted to beta CK more.

Well guess what - I'm still waiting for a CK beta announcement. Don't hold your breath (although thankfully they did put a late call in for beta on HOI).
 
By the way - we should really avoid a long list of "I wanna beta-test" posts. It's nothing but spam as they aren't going to be looked at when it comes time for the real beta-testing applications.

Actually, it has been asked. :)

To clarify, some of us have been selected by Paradox to help with the pre-beta stages of the game. The forum is actually a beta advisory forum rather than a beta forum. At some point, Paradox will know when they want beta-testing to begin and will announce that beta applications are open as they have done for their previous games.

There's no need before then to announce that you personally want to beta-test the game; just wait for applications to open. :)

I couldn't find a thread witch contained what I looked for, so I started a new one.

I just wanted to say that I'm very glad to see that the new game Victoria sounds great, and that I'll buy it the day it will be released. I'm really looking forward to hear more about the "completely revolutionary tech system." By the way, how many years do you think it'll take before the Beta-testing? :D
