Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
Playing as Afghanistan, I was clicking between menus on full game speed. After clicking on what I think was the buildings menu to the left the game hard crashed.

Please explain how to reproduce the issue
Unknown at present - will add details if persists

Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?

The same thing happens to me, mostly during autosaves. There's a GPU usage spike every time it crashes.

I wonder if I reduce the max FPS below its usual average FPS. What GPU do you use?

I tried that, reduced to 60 FPS and it still crashes. its either making the GPU do something weird or is some crazy Memory allocation thing. hope they get around this soon, its unplayable like this.

Same for me, I've reported this problem yesterday. I hope they find a solution soon.

Interesting fortunately I have some time this afternoon to play around with the game, more so than in previous days. I'm inclined to think it might be an event that's triggering this as managed to play for an hour or so last night without issue.

i've been having crashes while playing doing nothing in particular when as i crashed i could hear the sound of an event window opening.

The game seems to crash for a lot of people. In another thread they talk about lowering fps and increasing swap memory. From my side lowering fps does not work, so I will wait for a patch.

I'm fairly sure the crash I had was event based. I've been playing for 4 hours straight today as a different nation without issue... *Touch wood*

Does seem to be event based for me atleast. Still only had the first crash that this posted is based on and having changed nations, no problems for the last 4 hours or so.

Try changing the graphic preset all the way down to Low. It helped in my case. It´s far from ideal but at least it´s playable.

Thanks for the suggestion. Fortunately, I've played a further 14 hour or so and haven't experienced a crash without making any changes other than the country that I play, pointing towards an event issue or similar.
