Game crashes when zooming in/out and closing menus at the same time. Most of the time it happens when hovering the africa region.

I see you are on Apple Silicon, which is not (yet) supported hardware for this game; the devs have indicated that there will be a native version for it at some point.

Aside from waiting for that, all I can suggest is making a new thread in Bug Reports on this issue.
