Hi! The errors point out at either the graphic driver or graphic card itself causing issues. Is your graphic card overclocked by any chance?

"[21:36:52][gfx_dx11_fence.cpp:32]: D3D error: hr returned: The GPU device instance has been suspended. Use GetDeviceRemovedReason to determine the appropriate action."

Moving the thread to Technical Support, so that you can receive further advice for your GPU issue!

Reactions:
Right click on Victoria3.exe , properties, compatibility. Tick "disable fullScreen optimisations" untick every other box in that dialog, Apply and exit.

Then in the launcher Game Settings menu, select fullScreen display mode, Vsync off, cap refresh rate at 60.

If those don't help:
DXDIAG is a program you run from the Windows search box on the task bar. After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.

Please attach here your Documents/Paradox Interactive/Victoria3/pdx_settings.json .
From your Documents/Paradox Interactive/Victoria3/logs/ folder, attach here system.log , error.log , exceptions.log

Thanks for the help. GPU not overclocked. It's an EVGA RTX 3080 FTW3 ULTRA with the latest drivers. I've tried clean reinstalls after deleting drivers, game, steam files manually.

The crash is in your nVidia driver:
Fault bucket LKD_0x141_Tdr:6_IMAGE_nvlddmkm.sys_Ampere, type 0
Event Name: LiveKernelEvent
Let's do a clean reinstall of it:

- uninstall it and all other nVidia software
- reboot
- install the latest again https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
- reboot again
- unload GeForce Experience if it is running

If that doesn't help, can I get that pdx_settings.json file please. And what fls are you seeing in the game, any more than 60?
