Slowdown on Linux when popups appear
Game Version
1.3.3

No
Have you tried verifying your game files?
No
How much "pain" is this causing you?
5
Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
OS: Ubuntu Studio 23.04
Whenever an upper middle screen popup (such as "Gold Discovered", picture attached in case i am not using the right terminology) shows up, there is considerable slowdown. My game runs very smoothly, except for whenever one of these shows up (single digit or teens in FPS). Game technically playable, but very annoying to have happen frequently.
Please explain how to reproduce the issue
Happens any time a popup shows up.
Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?
I had an issue with the game where due newer linux distro versions using Pipewire, I had to install a compatibility tool pipewire-jack to get the audio to work correctly. Otherwise, no other major changes have been done.
I have attached a save game
No
